About Swaran Soft & Its Brand Family
Swaran Soft Support Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is an enterprise AI and digital transformation company headquartered in Gurugram, India, with offices in the UAE, Estonia, and the USA. We build Agentic AI platforms, custom enterprise applications, and digital marketing solutions for large Indian and Middle Eastern enterprises.
Beyond Swaran Soft, our associated line of businesses includes the Gignaati platform — a freelance and gig economy brand founded by Yogesh Huja, published author of Invisible Enterprises and an active thought leader in the AI and entrepreneurship space. The Video Editor will produce content across this entire brand ecosystem — from enterprise AI explainers and product demos for Swaran Soft, to thought leadership interviews, podcast-style content, and educational videos for the Gignaati and personal brand channels.
This is not a single-channel job. You will be shaping the visual identity of multiple brands across a growing YouTube presence — with a direct line to the Founder for creative direction.
The Role
As YouTube Video Editor at Swaran Soft, you will own the end-to-end post-production process for video content across the Swaran Soft and associated brand channels. From raw footage to published video — cut, colour, sound, graphics, captions, thumbnails, and metadata — you will be responsible for the complete output.
You will work with a variety of content formats: long-form thought leadership and interview videos, short-form Reels and YouTube Shorts, product demonstration and explainer videos, AI technology walkthroughs, event coverage, and promotional content for enterprise clients. The volume is regular, the deadlines are real, and the audience is professional — enterprise decision-makers, tech professionals, startup founders, and AI practitioners.
If you are someone who watches a raw recording and immediately visualises the story it can tell — and then has the technical skill to tell it — this role was designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit raw video footage into polished, publish-ready videos — cutting for pacing, removing dead air and filler, and shaping the narrative arc of each piece
- Colour grade footage for visual consistency across all brand channels — adapting tone and palette to match Swaran Soft's professional, tech-forward identity
- Mix and master audio — including voiceover, background music, interview sound, and AI-generated or recorded narration — to broadcast-quality output
- Add motion graphics, lower thirds, animated text, and branded intro/outro sequences using After Effects or Premiere Pro templates
- Create and animate data visualisations, explainer graphics, and product UI walkthroughs for AI and technology content
- Edit short-form content (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn video clips) from long-form source material — repurposing assets efficiently
- Handle multi-camera and screen-recording edits for webinars, product demos, and technical walkthroughs
Thumbnail & Visual Design
- Design click-worthy, on-brand YouTube thumbnails for every video — balancing visual appeal with text legibility and subject clarity
- Maintain consistent thumbnail templates across each brand channel — Swaran Soft, Gignaati, and CEO personal brand — so each channel has a recognisable visual identity
- Create social media cover images, channel art, and promotional banners as needed for channel launches, campaigns, and events
- Adapt video visuals for different platform formats — 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Shorts and Reels, 1:1 for LinkedIn and Instagram
YouTube Channel Management & Optimisation
- Upload and publish videos on YouTube Studio — writing or refining video titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and end screens to maximise discoverability
- Research and implement SEO-optimised titles and descriptions using TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or equivalent tools — understanding how YouTube's search and recommendation algorithm surfaces content
- Manage video scheduling, publishing calendar, and content backlog across multiple brand channels
- Monitor video performance analytics — views, watch time, retention rate, CTR, subscriber growth — and recommend adjustments to editing style, thumbnail design, or content format based on data
- Add and review auto-generated captions — correcting errors, formatting for readability, and creating SRT files for accessibility
Content Collaboration & Production Support
- Brief and coordinate with the on-camera talent (CEO, team members, guests) on recording best practices — framing, lighting, audio, delivery — to minimise post-production fix-up time
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content calendar planning — understanding upcoming campaigns, product launches, and events that require video content
- Source and manage royalty-free music, stock footage, and sound effects libraries — maintaining an organised, searchable asset library
- Use AI video and audio tools (Descript, Runway, ElevenLabs, Adobe AI features) to accelerate editing workflows where appropriate
- Provide input on content ideas, formats, and series concepts based on audience analytics and platform trends
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have
- 1–5 years of video editing experience with a portfolio that includes YouTube content — you must be able to show us channels or videos you have edited
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing suite — Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro — used for real projects, not tutorial exercises
- Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform — how the algorithm works, what makes a video retain viewers, what drives clicks, and how to structure a video for watch time
- Solid audio editing skills — you understand levels, noise reduction, compression, and how bad audio kills a good video
- Thumbnail design capability — you can produce a thumbnail that is visually distinct, on-brand, and genuinely likely to generate a click
- Organised file management and project hygiene — you maintain clean project files, consistent naming conventions, and a structured asset library
- Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality — you have delivered to a regular publishing cadence before
- Strong attention to detail — you notice the jump cut, the audio pop, the misaligned lower third, and you fix it before anyone else sees it
Good to Have
- Experience editing content in both Hindi and English — for multilingual brand channels targeting Indian audiences
- Motion graphics skills in After Effects — ability to create animated explainers, branded transitions, or data visualisation sequences
- Experience with AI-assisted editing tools — Descript for transcript-based editing, Runway for background removal or generation, CapCut AI features
- Understanding of short-form content strategy — what works on YouTube Shorts vs Instagram Reels vs LinkedIn video
- Prior experience editing content for a technology company, startup, or personal brand channel with 10,000+ subscribers
- Basic knowledge of enterprise or B2B content — familiarity with how to present AI, software, or consulting services to a professional audience
- Photography or graphic design background — useful for creating richer thumbnail and promotional visual assets
